Is this LS still active?, I'm thinking -probably- to jump servers to join, I heard a year and half ago that they were really strong and had events on different schedules as well as players from Asia, Europe and America.

I'm interested in joining and to know if the have a plan to handle dual ffxi/ffxiv events or an entire migration to the new game or anything of that sort.

Not quite sure how they're doing now, but I used to be on Remora prior to the server merge and they were still an active LS then. I've since moved to Phoenix, so I don't know where the shell has gone since, but I'd like to point out that just today I saw the shellholder of an LS with the exact same name pop up on Phoenix. Might be something to look into.

Yes ATG still active and on Leviathan as far as I know.
