Last night, potato cheddar soup in bread bowls. Tonight, probably leftovers. I made too much soup.

Here for eggy bread, we make bird's nests. It's where you have a bread with a circular hole cut out of the middle (cutting it out with a cup is easiest.) Then you make the bread to be French toast with an egg in the hole you cut out. I think the egg is supposed to be over-easy, or maybe sunny side up. I can't remember, my husband is usually the one who makes them.

It's over easy. I make the same thing and call it an egg-in-a-frame. Use butter on it so it's semi salty and fried goodness XD

Now I'm hungry =S

Actually I'm wrong. I've never had french toast in the traditional sense, I've had fried bread which is bread fried in the same pan that the Bacon, egg and sausage were fried in.

It's lovely when done right.

French Toast is amazing =O Well, when done well. During the holidays I sometimes substitute milk for eggnog and sprinkle powdered sugar over it.

Grilled cheese and egg sandwiches. Make eggs over easy, then place them in the middle of a grilled cheese sandwich. Cook them up and nom nom nom. It's not exactly gourmet, in fact it's downright redneck. But it's yummy, cheap, simple, and quick.
