Quick question, do the cruor buffs in Abyssea transfer over to our Wyverns when Empathy is used? Thanks in advance.

I don't think so... But not positive. It's hard to prove it since the buffs never actually wear off.

Easy to prove it, just get hp buff and use empathy. If i remember right it will get the hp boost however the new hp will not get refilled thus it will have a large chunk of hp missing? good question tho, hopefully someone who has tried it will come in soon

Didn't think of that. I'll try it next time I go DRG.

The HP/MP cruor buffs do refill the bars when you first get them in this case.

Edit: if it does transfer, I wonder if the buff would transfer just 20%, or if it could go up to 40% if the player had both Abyssites of Merit.

I highly doubt the refilling of the hp would accompany receiving the buff itself, and that it is just a result of the trade with the npc and how it was designed...in any case i am sure it shouldn't be hard to measure a boost of 20%+ hp on ur breath spells if you are full

Ahh true, I'm sure it initially refills because of the NPC and not the buff itself. Edited for clarification.

So the Cruor buffs don't transfer but the Atmas do. Good to know. ^^

I've actually heard that Atmas are automatically applied to pets, no transfer required. These were tested with avatars though, so I have no hard proof for DRG and wyverns.

This is true. With Atma of the Heir on my wyvern automatically gets 1/tick Regain, no assembly required.

Atma of the hero regens my wyvern. Definitely auto-applied.

And Atma of the Voracious Violet definately gives 2/tic regain, so empathy not required for those buffs.
