Durium Ore

Just a question really, but how hard is it to actually get Durium ore?

Hard, because you need to have strong lights to get regular chest drops. In 30 hours of Abyssea we have gotten four Durium Ores, with a full alliance.

Aye, You'd have to get into a good Abyssea Exp party, but they're very numerous in the auction house because of the popularity of Abyssea exp parties!

That and i also think you can find them in Walk of Echos?

Either way, You won't be able to low-man them unless you pop on 1hr 30min in stones and go farm a mob that drops Amber light, in which case you have about well, 1hr 30min to farm as many as possible.

Still, it'll be as cheap as most of the other items that can be found in Abyssea chests.

Dragon Meat for one, dropped like a rock
Angel Skin dropped like a rock too
Other items further plummeted

I've gotten 6 myself just from a few pick-up Abysseas (Lotted on.. of course)

saving up as many as i can to make the Grim Cuirass! o-o

yeah! i want grim cuirass D: thats why I asked lol o-o;;

If your wanting Grim, worry about Kukulkan's Skin first, note that you need two of them.
