Pashhow Marshlands has always been a decent farming area even after the deflation.
I found that without TH the approximate drop rate was 1/10 as I got 12/120 with an empty camp.
This applies to the northwest corner of Pashhow (Hoaxmarsh)
The reason people undercut is because they want their AH Postings to sell faster and have a higher chance of selling first before others. So thus putting the item at a lower price. The people who by it luck out for getting it cheaper. RMT will see this trend occurring and will respond in the same manner. Thus making the item drop to a extremly low price.
Then the rmt will buy up all of the item while it's really low and wait till the price to rise.
It's basics to Investments. Buy low sell high when it gets back up.
w/ TH2 +1, I can get about 1.5 stacks every hour. On certain moon phases, it goes WAY down, probably to like 1/2 stack every hour (or more even!).
And if I'm not mistaken, I hear from most people that RMTs make the prices stay up. 0 RMTs = undercutting and more "Capitalist" supply/demand economy. Just what I heard, seems to be true.
Any thoughts?
I have found that if the prices drop below what you would consider a decent price, it was profitable to make jusatsu with these. Even after buying all the mats (for around 10k tops) I could make more profit than just selling the stack for 20k. I also got a few skill ups in there, since my Alchemy was below 37. A good alternative that a few might want to try.
For as many "stop undercutting" posts that I see throughout the website, I have to wonder if these items are a person's sole path to riches. My suggestion would be to turn this consumable into a usable, like Ryno suggests. People don't just pay for the blood, they also pay for the synthed goods, which is why crafters gobble these up.
With max fame in windy a stack sells for 4,692 gil, I suspect even with starting fame it would be 4k at the least, so for those selling stacks of these for less than 3.5k on the AH have fun paying taxes to lose gil.
This sells Very fast dispite the fact that only a few are sold per day. This is due largely to the lack of places or people farming this to sell, as alot of Alch will farm it themself to max out thier profits.
I can't really peg down a 1/?? rate for this item. It's very...sporatic. sometimes i'll get 3-4 in a row, othertimes it'll take me 10 kills to get one.
though it's worth the patience.
