This spell is compatible with the effect granted by the Hollow Earring.
Despite the effect being listed as "Sword Enhancement Spell Damage +3" the damage increase is up to 6. The attack bonus granted by the spell is unaffected.
I think Kaioshin was simply drawing attention to the scroll's description, because it _does_ say:
"DRK Lv. 85 Teaches the white magic Endark. Adds darkness damage to your attacks."
...which is beyond strange. lol
