From my experience of roughly 24 trades (72 Pseudopods) I've recieved 4 WHM seals, 4 BST seals, 2 SAM seals, and 2 THF seals. I'm guessing the drop rate on seals is 50% with a random chance of which job seal it is.
GIL OPTION
So if your after a specific head seal and need 8, you would need to trade approx 192 Pseudopods and at 50k each, thats 9.6mil on average.
FARMING OPTION
Alternatively, I seem to get on average 1 Psuedopod per 30 min of farming (16% drop and ~6 kills per 30 min). At 192 Pseudopods, this equates to 96 hours of farming (192 trans stones).
not even going to bother till it drops to what it should be at, already seeing other servers hitting around the 30-50k mark already. Just a matter of time.
Save yourself the money BSTs. Any beastmaster with DY can easily solo Mielikki in Aby Attohwa. Bring a BLM friend for procs and you'll be done in about 3 hours.....for free. NM also drops PUP, SMN, and COR seals if you need 'em.
Why are these going up? Only 4 jobs get seals from this and the quest needs 3 of them. Not to mention it's one of the only ways to rank up in fame in that zone. Thanks for Choke-Holding more people Greed-bags
Drop rate on these totally justifies the price. Drop rate for me on BLM was about 1/30. Stop complaining and calling the people that farm these greedy. Everyone makes money in their own way.
It's very simple people. If you want or need something you either get off your lazy *** and farm it or you buy it off the AH.
It's also very hard to farm these as a melee job solo. Better break out that nuking gear and go at it!
