Sept. '08 didn't cut prices in half, they went down a bit, but not much. Reason being, the demand is still the same, and the supply is still the same, because suppliers are still limited to 1 limbus run every 3 days, and they didn't alter the drop rate of the coins. This is the same reason dynamis currency prices didn't change much after dynamis prices were halved as well.
