Fantastic Sync weapon during the lower levels (22+).
As has already been stated, due to the weapons already low damage, syncing barely reduces it, and its shot for shot damage is still comparable to other weapons at lower levels.
Its selling point is its delay however, its shot for shot damage is on par with other low level options, but it fires so much faster, your DoT is pretty insane, once you get access to unsynced bullets at 22, you pretty much become the parties tank.
Deadwing, this gun may not be good for damage but it is still the best for certain Quick Draws. Light and Dark Shot are unaffected by the gun damage so this is the best gun for those 2 particular Quick Draws.
I personally have 2 macros for each. One for where I macro this in (along with appropriate Stave and Grip) and so lose TP. The other is where I don't change any form of weapon so don't lose TP. Obviously I switch in all my normal QD gear in both macros.
reason this randomly shot up in price is because of lvl sync.
1. the damage on it is bad to begin with so it doesn't get much of a reduction if any.
2. delay stays the same when sync'd.
