Haart, though I don't necessarily agree with you, you are correct in terms of it's looks. In Norse Mythology, Gungnir was a Javelin. This represents more of a Trident-type look.
As to where the comment of there being more of this weapon, I find it doubtful. You must keep in mind, it was only recently that Drg was the "loljob." Since then, I bet you could expect the number of these to go up at a faster rate.
I'd like to clarify for future Gungnir holders that the stun rate for the spikes is nothing special, and 50% proc is just hopeful thinking, it's no better than any other shock spikes, even on too weak prey.
Got mine about 3 weeks ago, and i gotta say its a dam fine polearm but now if your thinking of doing this weapon you got to dump 50-75 mil EXTRA into it once you get it to 95. unless you got a ls that loves to spam ADL and they all want to pass the 15mil drop (unlikely) for you, your going to have to put your hand in your pocket and suck it up.
As for shock-spikes 20-25 dmg per hit will remove and other spike effect you might have on for paralise and cannot be manulay removed. G-skul damage is on par with wheeling thrust give or take and has mixed propeteries for SC. EG does light with GA emp and darkness with Mandau.
At any rate you dont build a relic because you want the best weapon, you build it because its what you want to do, because you love that job. Relic, Mithic, Emp and dear knows whats comin in Seekers of adolin.
Shock Spikes is actually good, as it improves on a DRG's soloing capabilities. Maybe not all DRGs like to solo, but once you know you can solo Chain EXP #1 on a G Colibri with Wyrm/Drachen Armet being your main HB gear, you'd want to solo more often too.
This is THE weapon for soloing. The shock spikes would be amazing. @Haart Why weaken evasion for soloing.. if u cant hit it you suck then. Weakening the attack would mean less needs for healing breath and more XP!
Wish they'd change the Additional effect of weakens defense to lower evasion like mezraq. DRG's already have angon to lower defense.
Even more than that, the graphics for Gungnir aren't that great. They need to make it look like Odin's Gungnir in the ToAU 44 mission. Now that Gungnir looks hawt.
