FunguarFamiliar is one of the higher damage dealing jug pets, thereby making it good for a BST who likes going into traditional 6-man parties.. It will last from level 33 to level 66~67, and is a good DD pet on most IT prey, but avoid using it against Vermin (E.G. beetles, bees, spiders) as it will intimidate your Funguar.
Can also be bought from NPC in Kazham for around 700 gil each.
FunguarFamiliar is the DD pet you want when you have Affinity 5/5.
Using this pet in either a solo or party situation is great. though be warned, fighting the wrong mob can get him intimidated, but as BST you should already know this.

The TP moves;
Frog Kick: - Single target attack
Queasyshroom - Single target damage and Poison
Silence Gas - Frontal cone damage and Silence
Numbshroom - Single target damage and Paralyze
Spore - Single target Paralyze
Dark Spore - Frontal cone damage and Blind
Shakeshroom - Single target damage and Disease
This pets damage potential comes from Dark spore and Silence Gas!
They can do upward 700(!) Damage to even VT~IT Mobs.
They are based on your mobs CURRENT HP, as are all breath attacks, its Conal se be careful not to get your pet killed by hitting two or more mobs!
Also, Dark Spore/Silence Gas grant significantly less Enmity than they should for the damage they do, which is good for Exp situations, and doesn't really matter too much with Snarl.
They work well for Low level and high level mobs alike! Spore is a potent Paralyze even, Dark Spore Blinds, Silence gas (duh) Silences, it can inflict a large range of Status Ailments.
Hit for hit, Diremite Familiar is better, in my opinion. A stack of Blood Broth is cheaper than a stack of Seedbed Soil on most servers nowadays, too. Compare them both and see which one suits you the best.
The reason these are more expensive, and in my opinion more valuable than other jugs such as blood broth, is because it is the best jug to use against Fe'e in BCNM60 for Kraken Club.
