Great for many purposes. Even though I have warp and warpII I still find myself using these a lot when I don't use blm. And yes like others have said you can sell them after all charges have been used to an NPC for a lil over 2k gil.
Hades is currently having a varitable "Who Can Make the Least Money" contest with these clubs. People who undercut thier own items baffle me. They sell between 12-17 a day on average despite price fluctuations. No matter if prices go as low as 11k or as high as 20k, that Club/Day average stays the same about 85% of the time based on about 3 months of recording the daily sales on this site. And yes i know this comment will more than likely be given the - mark, but still i ask: "Why would you sell any item for less than its market potential when only a handfull of people sell the item?"
Why are people buying this for 80-100k in 2016? Why are people buying it at all for that matter? We have warp rings and instant scrolls all over the place.
I myself make these, but most of the time I sell them on my bazar between 13k-15k, they don't sell as fast in the AH because I do get them returned sometimes, this thing of certain crafters wanting to sell fast and place them at 8-10k baffles me, animas aren't cheap, and oak logs aren't either, i have a hard time getting them in the ah at 3k so mostly of the time i get them from the guild at 4,7k each log, to sell these under 10k its not profitable....
i remember when these where only sold for 4k... now out of no where they are sold for 30-60k >.> some times wth is all i gota say 4k to 30k alone is just plain dumb as hell
