CHR affects "Killer effects" though, Azulmagia.
Synthesizing this weapon with a Bewitched Gold Ingot (either obtained through Chocobo Hot & Cold, or crafted) it becomes a Messhikimaru, which has "Arcane Killer", where those few extra CHR 'could' be appreciated, on top of their "Demon Killer" job trait, which would also get a slight boost.

The CHR does nothing, but it's a gorgeous weapon.

EDIT: If you're subbing DNC, you're using Soboro Sukehiro.

Also, just like with anything else, you need to stack a lot of a stat for it to make a real difference. I'm sure not many SAMs will gear for CHR.
