Spawned by fishing with Dried Squid as bait at any lake in the area while in possession of the key item; Smoldering Crab Shell.

Smoldering Crab Shell is from Nahn.

Nahn is fished up from the pond at (H-7) as a monster with almost any fishing setup.

Dried Squide is from Poroggo Dom Juan.

Poroggo Dom Juan is popped by Bug-eaten Hat.

Bug-eaten Hat can be farmed off of the Poroggo Seducteur.

Great base damage, reskinned white/gold Hofud, looks badass! Enough reason to use it, right..? Speculation incoming: Depending on that additional effect, this could be a really really really amazing sword.

@Shiva.Khimaira, there are higher damage ones released in the same update.

If you want this piece, make sure you have friends who can proc blue on Karkinos, otherwise you're gonna be there for a long time.

The additional effect believe it or not proc's quite a bit more often than what I've been led to believe. It may just be luck or something else, but when my MP (Roughly 1.5k in abyssea) is full, the proc does some great added damage. In my opinion it's one of the best in terms of sheer power of its added effect, but only if you balance your MP.

One of the highest base damage swords, my bad. Looks like the Additional Effect is a variant of that of Excalibur. I had 4 rate downs by the way >.<
