There is no reason a PLD should ever Idle in AF or AF+1 boots over these during TP, Atonement is one of a Paladins strongest hate tools, and these are ideal for building TP for atonement spam with Joytoy.

Gallant are only for Casting Utsusemi:Ichi to get your shadows back up, there is no excuse for a Paladin not to macro gear, with <stal> blinking isnt even an issue for mages anymore.

These are the best PLD/NIN boots in the game and nothing competes with them.
