---Amemet +1 Comparison---
PROS:
* Def+1
* Can use it 10 lvls before
* Rattk+15 (Ranged Attack works
for COR,THF,RNG,SAM,WAR, etc)
* ~550k gil cheaper (on Lakshmi)
CONS:
* Str-1
Right now you're looking at a 470k STR+1 piece (relative to Amemet +1) on Ragnarok's current economy. Not worth the upgrade unless it's one of the last slots you want to improve. If you can spend 470k to get something better than STR+1 in any slot, you're better off not buying this.
Bsphilar's and Hellsingk's comments might have been valid when they were written but these days I'm not so sure. I sold my Amemet +1 for 200k and bought the Forager's for 290k and to me the STR+1 was definitely worth the 90k.
Keep in mind people aren't saying that this is a bad piece of gear. They are just saying that for the gil, you can get alot better for another slot, while still getting an amemet +1. STR raises the damage cap, adds damage to weaponskills (aside from spirit's within and skills like it), so it's worth getting, but only if you can't get more STR in another slot with your gil.
This is a good peice for DD's take in mind that ofc its only one more Str compared to Amemet+1 but it will optimize the possible dmg for the DD and dont throw "You get +15 R.Atk with Amemet +1" big deal take into account that 80% of those jobs cant use R.Atk so it wont do nothing for em i got both Foragers and Amemet+1 and only use Amemet+1 for my Sam/Rng sure it cost about 220K more but most the people who buy this dont really hhave ***better to buy with thier gil and want to optimize the slot.
Reason why this suckers so expensive from the 1 more strength is because of how Fstr is calculated. every ounce of str you can get ahold of increases your weapons base damage on top of your weapon skill modifiers and such. granted it is crazy expensive but the price is cuz your paying for "the best you can put in this slot". ppl that are serious about getting the high numbers will only see this as the cheaper of the other hq options. you want the big numbers, the rest of the stuff isnt gonna get any prettier. (HQ Black gear being one example.)
Personally, I use an Amemet's mantle+1, because I am a Ranger First, and a Samurai second, if I happen to get a forager's along the way while doing the Hagun ENM, then cool I'll keep it for SAM. :)
personnaly i need str i suggest to you amemet+1.. but you you really want to get this +1 str and you have alot of money to spen.. you should use swaping macro and use amemet+1/commander cap.
