Its amazing you dont see more summoners using this, Avatar Perp-1 and all you have to do is be in yellow HP. I Thought it was a nice ring :D Surely worth yout time. and its Cheap!
If you sub SCH you can use Sublimation, and reduce your HP to 75% without be in yellow HP, and then you can use this ring :P (and Undead will not agro you).
what alot of people are failing to realize here is that your HP does not have to be yellow for this to work. Your HP needs to be 75% of your MAX hp. If you wear enough convert HP>MP gear, the latent will be active even when your 100%.
this is a great tool for a SMN to use with the Sacrifice Torque. yes /sch will give you the the effect needed however it will not be helpful when you need to rest mp. as this will push your HP up too. use this with the torque and sch and you have the same sort of effect of the Envokers ring.
*was cheap, all the Astral Flow burns now and it's increased usefulness with /SCH etc have caused the price to increase 10 fold so far. May drop once the SMN baby boom has dropped off.
This Ring is amazing and both Great Points Karbuncle and Drayco. A lot of people didn't use this ring before because most of the time smn would have to sub whm and whm has an auto regen trait which would suck to keep hp in the yellow. Now with the ability to sub sch they don't have an auto regen trait with this job + with sublimation they don't need any - or + gear to reach the yellow/75% zone. Which make this ring far more valuable and too cheap to pass up if you need - avatar perp cost
people do not use it because most of the time they sub whm (auto regen) so even if they use convert equip, auto regen make it go up again and like that, that's why they use serket ring or any other MP instead, it's use full only if u do not use sub whm
