Consume 10 Earth Fewell to lower the damage taken by the furnace over time for a brief period.

Pretty handy for those drawn out Synergy recipes.

It also lowers the damage from Explosions unless i'm crazy :\ been using it a lot.

This is a pain to get if you have people that don't know what they are doing. I had two people with me just to get it done without being there for hours. It took me about ~30 minutes to get it. I suggest buffing haste and stoneskin before you start. It makes this much easier, what we did was spam wind with two people and then one person spammed earth. Make sure that once you get hit you cant just spam enter because it brings you to "Fire" instead of the element you were spamming before. So be careful and good luck.
