It can be augmented to add "Enhances 'Mantra' effect"
so that makes 6 stat groups.

Augments bypass the "5 Stat groups per piece" Limitation.

That was mentioned some time ago when Augmenting was first introduced, It was talked about as a "Work-around" For that limitation.

So what Francisco Says still holds true.

And Koga Kyahan only have 4 Stat categories including the Def... STR/DEX/etc are all 1 Category.

Memory limitations only allow 5 stat groups per piece...

This one has:
1: DEF: 20
2: HP+5%
3: STR+7 DEX+7
4: Increases "Counter" attack
5: Enhances "Counterstance" damage.

One of those pieces that will annoy me, because you have to choose between Kick Damage and Counter Damage (Kick Damage has more utility, as you obviously don't need to be tanking to benefit from it).

Also, these still serve there most important role, enhancing Counterstance.

Pretty sure they'll also be a great WS piece for the new H2H Weaponskill.

the only thing i was going to want these for was the guard skill and i dont see it :( sad panda...

Seeing how the "Enhances dual wield" On Ninja body has been upgraded from its +1 counterpart. And the RDM body has went from 10%-12% I would be willing to assume that these would give counterstance +12% instead of 10.
