nah FF7 was good. the remakes, not so much. the beatles are just straight up disgustingly over-rated. they didnt "influence the world" and their music was pretty *** simple. 6 bar phrase hey hey!

Both are overrated for the same reason, both were part of a new generation of their respective domains.
That said, I'm not a fan of 7, but I do enjoy some Beatles from time to time.

There is something that *** like you need to learn. Complex =/= good. Simple =/= bad. Take johnny cash for example. All of his music was extremely simple and I don't recall any of his songs being more than just variations of 3 chords throughout an entire song, yet he still made very nice music. Even on his death bed he could produce simple yet amazing music.

sure, if you're a simple person i guess. complexity and ingenuity in music is always nice though imo.

meh, johnny cash was good forcountry music, but the genre as a whole is a bit too emo most of the time.
