I'm using a Sector 7 PC Game controller for my computer, I have all the drivers and the computer recognizes its existence, and yet FFXI does not. I actually did enable the gamepad for the game and yet it still refuses to work.

have you mapped your controller w/ the ffxi config?
ffxi config doesn't even recognize that the controller is there
where did you enable gamepad at?
also did you go into ffxi config under the play online folder and assign gamepad keys?

I enabled it under PlayOnline > Square Enix > Final Fantasy XI > ToolsUS > FFXIPadConfig
I would assign the keys but again, ffxiconfig is basically saying "No, screw you there is no controller." but in Control Panel under Game Controllers it says there is one.
