Game Won't Let Me Login

The game isn't letting me login for some reason. I get to the POL viewer, and then I click Play, and then it shows the warning screen about the rmt /tell, and then I click the play button again, then it just shoots me back to the FFXI page in the POL viewer instead of starting up the game. What's going on? >.<

This has happened to me before! I just waited it out and it fixed itself. Sorry I can't be of more help :(

About how long were you waiting it out for? It's been 20 mins for me >.<

I think it was about half an hour. I also tried the regular things like restarting my laptop, trying to log in without windower and such but I don't know if any of those things helped it or not.

I already tried all those things too D: so far nothing on my end.

Do you have a router?
Have you tried to reset your modem (or router if you have)?

Did you noticed if your connection is fine by any means?
Check your downloading speed, bandwidth...
things like that helps.

That happens all the time for me actually. I R0 often and sometimes I can't connect to POL but my problem lies in my router, I need to power reset it everytime.
If you have a router that might be it.

Same thing happened to me about an hour ago, on my 360. Only when I got past the warning page, I was booted right back to the Dashboard of my 360.

I ran a file check on POL and FFXI, but turned up nothing. Tried to log back in (after the 30 minutes for the file checks), and I was able to get in w/ no problem.

Perhaps a small hiccup that worked itself out.

I just reset both my router and my modem... It didn't do anything... and I play on PC with Windower... nothing D:

Finally I can log back in now ; ;

Found a solution Okami? Or you simply logged without any attempt to fix the 'problem'?
I know that sometimes FFXI connection oscillates a lot... that might be it.
