Hey guys, just came across this recently and thought I'd share. After installing a small utility on your computer, it allows you to upload individual files/processes/services to VirusTotal to be scanned by 41 different anti-virus applications for both very strong virus detection and a consensus on possible false positives, like Windower's hook.dll. Another neat feature this uses is sending the file hash to its' servers first to check whether or not the file has already been uploaded, and if so simply reflects the file scan used for that particular file.

However, this doesn't replace installing an anti-virus on your computer, so if you're interested in this beware that its functionality doesn't extend that far.
