Does anyone happen to know if there is a possible way to download from a site with the full version of XI and the expansions? I currently cannot find the disc. Help is appreciated :0
You can dl it through a torrent or through PoL's store.

Bumped for great justice. I just had to do a full system restore today and I lack the discs for an XI reinstall. Anyway I can get in on some super secret goodies? (I know about torrents, but I had difficulty getting WotG last time) Thanks in advance ^^

I have a ISO that i ripped for my own personal back up. It is of the Ultimate collection. I just do not have a place to upload it to, and i do not know how to create a torrent properly.
If anyone has a place that i can upload roughly 4 1/2 GB of data, i could upload it.

I have this "wonderful" habit of scratching every CD I own, so I burned my downloads to discs and put them in my filing cabinet.

lol illegal, this is one of those instances in which it is a "genuine" backup option, I've bought the discs like three times now because I keep losing them, as enticing as another free mule account sounds, I just want to get back to leveling nin lol
Its not illegal, its a backup that i made. You do not get to play the game for free...

I have original NA release discs. I can download and install the entire collection faster than I can install with the old CDs and then update. The last time I did it, just post ToAU release, updating from the original discs took six hours.

Yeah, I mean in the opposite approach making people pay for a game they already have simply to play it on another console or reinstall from lost discs is pretty butt. XI should really have a download option available straight from the site available for people after entering their original registration code or account info.

I uploaded a ffxi torrent to demonoid.com (site is currently down to server problems) years ago for a LS mate. There's no need for these private servers and whatnot. Sounds like more trouble than it's worth.

Finally got the torrent uploaded. Keep in mind that the transfer will be slow while I am at work. Once I get home I will start seeding from there.
Edit: Also, apparently TPB doesn't think trackers should be used anymore. We'll see how this works using only DHT.

I've now got a decent seed going. Unfortunately only one computer is being nice so both aren't seeding, atm.

Why pay for something that you already paid for once? That's the whole reason i made a backup for myself, I have all the original discs on my bookshelf, but installing with that one DVD is so much quicker.
