FFXI Computer

Whats a cheap/good computer to get to play FFXI on.....i realize i dont want to quit anymore but i also dont want to play on Xbox.. so someone please give me some advice

Just about anything can play ffxi, really.

Well i see some people who takes pics on the comp... and it looks nice, then others take pics and it looks like crap i also dont really want to d/c alot

i have an old P4 3ghz HT with 2GB ram and sapphire ATI radeon hd3850 and it plays FFXI great. check out my SS if you want to see how it looks, the most recent one if the one of xarc (s) taken with drawdistance set to 25, the other ones were taken before i got my radeon hd3850 so the resolution wasnt as high.

i run on max settings and only get lag in AU.

lol I have a mac with bootcamp. Works great! Probably lots better then most all PCs. Actually, not probably, IS better then most all PCs

Anything cheap and modern can make XI look good on the PC if you do a few registry tweaks. I don't have it installed anymore, else I'd give you the exact keys to tweak :( should be able to find it online though.

Lol im really not good w/ a omputer in meanings of tweaking....lol
