Anyone have any recommendations for a good Usb wireless card? Need it to have an external/upgradeable antenna, as it'll be long range, and don't trust the internal ones. Wireless N preferred.

Anything by Linksys really is good.

Do you want to buy it in store or care if it's online?

Not particularly, just want a good one. Saw a liniksys on newegg, but a lot of reviews with a lot of bad cons on it.

I have this lil' bad boy and I gotta say it works pretty good, but since you are looking for something with an antenna ...

Lemme look some more...

I know newegg doesn't have that much in USB dongle type but assuming you are using it on your PC and not a laptop I know there are quite a few good ones.

What was the one you saw on newegg?

I wouldn't trust it, it has bad reviews.

If you are worried about range, a simple solution would just to be to get an one of those USB extension cords.

Unless if course you are going to be moving around alot.

I have one now, w/ a usb wireless card hooked up to a super cantenna. I just think the particular card I have is shitty and out of date, so looking for one w/ an antenna so i can unscrew it and plug my super cantenna back in.

To the first house that'll get me some connection. I have 3 connections I can hit fine as it is, so I figured upgrading my card may strengthen the signal. I have a shitty alfa cheap card that just came for free w/ my cantenna.
