I am not sure how or why this works but it does! Something fun to play with for a minute or two.

YOUR AGE BY CHOCOLATE MATH

This is pretty neat.

DON'T CHEAT BY SCROLLING DOWN FIRST!
It takes less than a minute .
Work this out as you read .
Be sure you don't read the bottom until you've worked it out!
This is not one of those waste of time things, it's fun.

1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to have chocolate (more than once but less than 10)

2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold)

3. Add 5

4. Multiply it by 50 -- I'll wait while you get the calculator

5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1759 ..
If you haven't, add 1758.

6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born.

You should have a three digit number

The first digit of this was your original number
(i.e., how many times you want to have chocolate each week).

The next two numbers are

YOUR AGE! (Oh YES, it is!!!!!)

That's *** weird, and a neat math trick because regardless of the number entered because of my bday it always gets it right. lol Figured entering 0 would get it wrong, so had to try it with other numbers to see. xD

But this one is a bit too obvious imho.
You provide your year of birth and if it has been your birthday or no, it's pretty easy to get your age out of that.
But the chocolat part is fun =^.^=
... mmmm ... chocolat ... *drools* ...

This is pretty cool.

Lets say you eat X chocolates per week.

The process makes us do the following:

X
2X
2X+5
(2X+5)*50
((2X+5)*50)+1759 (Assuming already had birthday)
(((2X+5)*50)+1758)-1988 (Assuming birth year of 1988, 20 year old)

Expanding out gives:
100X + 250 + 1759 - 1988

Which simplifies to:
100X + 2009 - 1988

You can see that the "trick" comes by disguising the fact that you are essentially subtracting the year of your birth from 2009 (current year). Add to that 100 multiplied by your original number and you stick that original number on the front.

Try imagining it is one year from now, and the trick won't work. You would have to increase the 1758 by 1.
