Is it impossible to lose agro on beastmen mobs in dynamis?

I just linked 1 turtle while getting the 20 min TE in valk, then flee'd + fajin boots all the way to birds for the 10 min TE and the stupid turtle followed me all the way across the map.

Am I missing something?
