Camate Community Rep	Sorry to say, but we do not have any plans for paladin to learn Shell V.

Kinda silly to ask for shell V I think when times you need it you're probably around a mage of some kind >.>;

I suppose it's just because they gave the crappy Protect V, but not the only one that actually works Shell V.

Wasn't really expecting it, sitting at 75 with Protect IV and Shell III for so long.

I posted that topic on the official forums mainly from what I seen a lot of WHMs are horrible at recasting buffs when they are dispelled. There are some good ones but most pugs I have joined the mages don't recast buffs and I have to use a weaker shell because of it since I have to cast my own.

I will vouch for the WHM side though. If they don't have things filtered correctly the text could be going by too much and see too many people getting dispelled and don't pay attention to what is dispelled off of you.

But that comes with practice and good whm's will notice that most of the time. If they miss it then just speak up and someone will get you. I know it is one of those "But I shouldn't have to do that" situations, but I think it is better to just type a quick request to let your team know instead of not saying anything and possibly dying from it (not saying you are, just saying it in general).

Part of working as a team is working together, and if your WHM happens to be the weaker link then help them out if you can by letting them know.

With that said, I don't think PLD needs Shell V because you should be with a mage if you need shell at all (as I said in the OP).

why cant you just type "shell" lol. Don't tell me you have too much goin on either.

My shell 5 was dispelled...I better not bother the whm, I will go make a forum post instead!

I see nothing wrong with asking a mage for buffs, its only when they do it like .2 seconds after it wears it becomes a problem.

This happens too often in shout groups >.>
Normally I'll wait for something like haste, but if they take too long I'll ask them for it.

I usually don't even say anything cause I figure if they're good enough they'll be on top of it, if not, they'll just keep forgetting so why bother asking every time. lol

In the case of shell getting dispelled, I'd just cast my own shell IV immediately and then the WHM can cast Shell V when they have a moment.
