Like many ppl, i think it's weird to have a MND secondary modifier for WS like Guillotine and Quietus.
But, do we fully understand how this secondary modifier works?
Feel free to make any suggestion or maths. The goal is to discuss about it and find out how useful/useless it is.

Pretty sure its as simple as it just being another modifier. Not so much "secondary" as it has the same potency as the other modifier, given its the same %. (unless its str cuz str pushes attack, and fSTR, etc etc).

Lol.

25% MND mod means every 4 MND you add, you get +1 DMG to your weapon for that WS.

Don't bother, STR gear is easier to get and much more plentiful.

No not quite.

WSC = floor (floor((A x A%) + (B x B%)) x alpha)

The alpha at 90 was 0.85, should be the same for 95 but not 100% sure.

So for guillotine, with 100STR and 100MND,

WSC = floor (floor((100 x 25%) + (100 x 25%)) x .85

WSC = floor (floor((25) + (25)) x .85

WSC = floor 50 x .85

WSC = 42

WSC is used in the calculation for base damage.

Normal wiki does a bad job of explaining it, link the BG one. It's a lot more friendlier.

Weapon skill damage has a large amount of factors when it comes to calculating damage. Essentially the easiest answer to this thread is, we already know what stat mods are for and what they do. "Secondary" doesn't mean it's weaker than a "primary" modifier. If you have a piece with significantly more MND than STR, wear that, however keep in mind that the STR is also contributing to secondary factors such as Attack and fSTR.

So there's no point in sacrificing attack +30 for some MND+15?

Depends entirely upon the target and your buffs.
