In before someone posts a rude reply to this.

1) Most people don't check their server boards. FFXIAH has a nice self contained community, but for buying/selling I know people don't go to the forums to look for that

2) They DO go to the "wanted/bazaar" features on the site, if they have something to buy or sell. I suggest posted a "Wanted" list with these items for the price you're willing to pay and see if anyone bites.

Or if you're desperate you could try shouting in Whitegate. Sometimes you get lucky.
