Bard DD Set

What I normally use.

Offhand is either atoyac (OAT), izhiikoh (acc), or homestead dagger (reives).

Would probably use shetal stone if i had it. Don't own an anguinus belt or windbuffet belt either.

Shetal Stone is good in many situations but it kinda depends what you're doing.
According to Haste/Haste2/Embrava/Marches/SV you can reach delay cap in many situations and at that point Windbuffet or an Acc belt (Anguinus?) are clearly better options me thinks.

Has the Latent on Shetal been found out yet? Only saw reports of it always being active.

5365 Mordant Rime on Broxa as BRD/whm w/ Mandau & shield. Buffs of March x2 and Mad x2.

btw, since Cantontai never finished it, and since I will have a freer schedule at the end of this month, I will be finishing the DD BRD Guide in the near future(practically making a new one from scratch since his is very skeletal and outdated), including buff/content specific sets, so look forward to it :)

If a BRD isn't singing, they are dead weight. Especially for stuff like Incursion.

Anyone ever gotten any DD-esque augments on Linos? Looks like it may have potential to be a really solid TP piece.

What's the best WS to use on 114-116 targets with Izhii/Atoyac? Wondering at 100% which is the better ws Mordant/Evisceration/Rudras? /NIN sub btw.

Depends on a lot of factors but at 1000TP Evisceration should win most of the time.
If you have Carnwenhan then it's Mordant Rime.

Rudra wins over Evis (Mordant with Carns) at a variable TP rate according to the target you're fighting, its defense, your attack, and wether or not you have Moonshade Earring.
If I recall it's somewhere between 1600 and 2100 TP.



As for the new helm, didn't math it out but I think it's pretty obvious it should always be the best WS option, unless you're missing Accuracy... at which point Lithelimb Cap is probably better.
Just my hunch btw, didn't math it out carefully.

Ok, was mostly wondering about job point soloing on Restless Twitheyrms, likely with Red Curry up, likely WSing at 100% every time, so I'll use Evisc. Thanks.

Concerning WS, my tests (small samples, around 100-150 WS each) confirm what Byrth has been saying in the WS update thread on BG.

It changes according to target and your/their stats, but normally this should be the tier list for WSs on BRD


Rudra 2000+ >>>>>>> Rudra 1000 >= Mordant Rime (Carns) > Evisceration 1000 >= Mordant Rime (no carns)


Not sure about normal Mordant behing under Evis, but it should be right.
Mordant is still pretty nice so it's not too big of a loss to use it to keep our AM3, I feel in some circumstances Mordant 1000 might actually be better than Rudra 1000, but that matters little because according to what Byrth said using Rudra at 2000 will ALWAYS be better damage over time.

Make that 2000 a 1750 if you have Moonshade. I actually need to swap mine from Refresh+1 into TPbonus.

I sorta held off making further progress on equipment sets since 11/26 when adjustments were announced, until the results of WS testing were conclusive from the update itself to work with, so I'm gonna try and pick back up on it tonight and/or tomorrow and I should be near finished hopefully

How many TP sets do you have atm? I only have 4, and 2 ws sets for each WS.
We need some better DD legs too, I can't stand using aetosaur +1 >.>

The obvious improvement switching mars's to ramuh +1. The hands are a toss-up with what you would want to do with them (Burmete can net you more overall accuracy), choose those for a slight survival aspect. Also with the rudra changes, olseni belt might be worth its weight now.

Buremte can provide slightly more acc and same haste as Umuthi, no PDT.
Also I still TP with lolBihulegs+1 'cause I'm lazy and I never get allowed to TP on stuff that matters sigh. "Omg you broke our Fudo>Fudo=Light spam! We gonna wipe now! Stop feeding too much tp!" and other similar annoying whines.

Plus incursion gets me busy fulltime recasting all the lovely songs that get dispelled. Did I ever mention how much I hate incursion on BRD? >.>

Any good tp sets for job point farming? Was thinking shetal stone/suppa. For weapons Iz/atoyac with Oat and wsd and just rudra spam(or is better to use mordant even without car?)

Speaking of dd bard, i've been kind of a fan of /war and sanguine blade.
Its more niche cause everyone is into rudra now, but its nice for surge woe/Wkr and other situation.
I feel pretty much unkillable with a sanguine blade set.

Also no sc properties on ws so you want mess up someone doing sc's or whatever.

when i use lolbard trusts I just use nitro etudes cause Joachim+ulmia always wanna sing some random mix of march/mad/minuet and mess with my songs if I sing those.
I always pull with dark threnody which i'm not sure how much helps cause i've never tested it a bunch, but I do it anyways.

I can't seem to get impressive numbers out of vorpal blade, might be good with geo bubble, better buffs, R15 uson,etc so I always just spam sanguine instead cause its reliable and never get resists.
