The power search has been updated, but you seem to have removed the 'Description' field.
Can we have it back, as it was very useful?
EG. I used to type "Haste +" in the description field and pick a job and it would find all the haste gear that job could wear, but with this update I can't
Or if i knew that stats of an item, but not the name i could search "INT +5" in the description and select the "finger" slot and find the snow ring.
Trivial examples, but hopefully you see my point.

yes I was just looking through that right now and I was trying to type in "CHR +" and I realized: "oh wtf...where is the description field".
.... Oh no they didn't.... I use that frequently to find out what pieces of gear I can eq on a certain job with certain enhancements... Used to use Somepage for it til they stopped updating....

Can't agree more. Use it all the time to seach for equipment with traits. Last night I searched for Guard+ gear. Today I went to do it again and it failed 4 times before I realized it was a new design.
Bring it back, pleaaaase. Why did it change anyway? What was added or what was wrong with the previous version?

Wow... You seriously didn't see that it was different and the field was just 'name' and not description four times?
The only thing with the old search i didn't like was the result list being limited to 100 results. Would be nice to add "View Next 100" button. That is all.

Meh. 100 didn't bother me, 99% of the time I'm looking for a narrow field of items that brings up a max of 50 anyway. It just means you need to limit your searches more instead of looking at every single piece of eq with mp on it for all slots from 1-75. :P

I just noticed from adding items to an item set I made -- every effect has a corresponding value in the "stat_id" variable. I clicked on the STR link in my item set, and it gave me a list of all items with STR on them. Here is the link. So until the description field is fixed, I think this presents a viable alternative. You just need someting with the stat you're looking for added to your item set.

That's cause you're limiting the search to Katanas in that range that 'only' Elvaan Male can use. No Katanas like that exist lol :P

That's not how it ever worked, and that's not how it worked when I made it display all weapons that Elvaan Male could use and it displayed Katana's >.>

Ooh. Yeah, I liked the old Power Search better myself. I used to be able to search for "CHR+" without any problem, now it's more confusing than anything :(

I like the link for advanced player search addition. Kinda miss the description field as others have stated myself.

It's not just you, I had that same issue earlier looking up H2H. My guess is someone addressed the issue and fixed it.
This search has exactly the same functionality as the old one except description. I can add description although I took it off because was very inefficient and I was going to add a some stat filters. Didn't know so many used it. The old power search page still exists and is functional if you prefer that interface.

IMO Stat filters are a better long term solution.
But I would be nice to still have the description field until the filters are complete.

The "Race" field seems to be ignored when searching, unless I was doing it wrong.
