I'm wondering what the most useful bst shield is, is it tatami for the enhanced killer effects? or bloom for the regen while soloing?

Shouldn't you be using a shield to enhance your pet, like Pallas's shield?

Pallas shield is best, due to the fact it gives pet def bonus. You want your pet to survive as long as possible.

I'm no BST, but from what I heard from friends time you'd usually want to Dual wield 2 -10 PDT Guichard's axe and then switch to 2 Zoraal Ja's axe to maximize Reward potency (each axe grants +10% potency to Reward VS Pallas's 3.5%~).
