Can't Connect To POL

I was on FFXI all day today, but when I typed /FLIST my friends would be shown as online and <asura> but not where they were in the game.

I decided to /shutdown (stupid idea) and now I can't get back on.

Getting POL error: POL-0011

I restart my entire network / router / cablemodem and computer.

Suggestions?

edit: I just noticed this was FFXIAH help and not FFXI I apoligize if this is the bad place.

Did your account get hacked and character transferred? Did you notice when you logged on which server it said?

I had been on for a few days before this started being funky.

I just wokeup and it was doing it. Without any disconnection.

So I have not seen what server it says, but I was playing on Asura until a hour or two ago, then disconnected and now POL is being weird.

I also have two other accounts, those are showing the same message.

Don't worry, you haven't been hacked, banned, or lost your account in any way. It seems like a simple connection problem... POL likes to do this every now and then to seemingly random groups of people or individuals. Try again in an hour or two; it should work.

but its lame because if I wouldn't have disconnected I would have been fine!!
