Polls

This might be a cool idea. Implement some kind of polling system where people could introduce a poll, everyone can vote, etc.

Limitations could be something like:
Only 3 polls a day for the site.
Poll creator must have at least 1 char from either 11 or 14 linked to name.
Can only create a poll once every 96 hours.

Bumping this thread since I wanted to ask the same thing: why not a poll option when creating a thread?

Polls would be a cool feature to add. Seems like every popular website has them these days, so they must generate a lot of site traffic.

It would be tricky to moderate though, perhaps. The forum has a standing policy against "player warnings" and things of that ilk. Users creating the polls would have to refrain from stuff like "Do you think Player X is a gimp momma's boy zit-faced chump, yes or no?"

That's a bit exaggerated, I realize, but do you think the Users here can be trusted to refrain from such polls? Honest question.

Of course scragg could make one but I just think there are plenty of sites that do this already for you with BBCode that it would be a waste of his time when he could use that time on something else. Not that I don't like polls, I think they can be used properly sometimes, I just think that this site doesn't need it atm and there are other things that are needed.

Something funny about voting for "I don't even vote when there is one".
Kind of like having the answer "I don't know" to the question: Are you indecisive?
