BLU AFv3 Seals: Anyone Find Which Quest To Do?

I'm wondering...has anyone found which quests give seals to upgrade Mavi gear? Atm i only have 1/8 seals for legs..
that bat that pops near the force popped Colibri drops leg
seals but it seems to be a 1/3 drop rate for BLU.
Been curious about the quests "Wanted: Medical Supplies"
and "Unidentified Research Object" but do to lack of stones...i couldn't test these quests out.

The unidentified Research Object does drop blue legs. Im 1/8 from it, took me 7 murex spinal things

At first glance, looks like blu got totally ripped off with repeatables. Yurims quest is just a *** bank roll, the bridge one will be a time sink depending on how you actually get the spittle, and hunting/escorting chocobos? *** that.

Know what you mean here been doing the yurim one in coast so far traded 3 got one DNC one BRD and nothing lol the Quest will NOT always net you a random seal just so people dont go farming for the items needed drop rate seems quite low from rock murex killed about 20 got one anyone tested in other areas yet?

I'm 0/3 thus far on any seal from the Murex's. That quest is such a pain in the *** =(

The NMs for seals are a complete joke though. Whiro's duoable by BLU + healer, Asanbosam is easily duo'd via kiting, and unless Hrosshvalur has some epic trick up his sleeve I can't imagine him being difficult either. There's also pop NMs in each zone that can drop seals. Not having a viable set of quests is kind of annoying but I really can't complain since I'll probably burn less stones this way.

any updates to the blu quests/nm's? which seem to be best/fastest to get the seals? ive been looking on wiki but all seem about equal

You will. I've had much better luck getting seals via NMs than I have through quests. And that's not just for blu either. All jobs included. NMs > quests

I've been doing the Flown the Coop quest simply for the reason it doesn't take long and if you team up with at least one person, you can get it done lots of times in a 2 hour span. As for the leg quest, *** paying 50k per try, and I won't be repeating the quest for feet. The time used to kill mobs for the spittles can be used to kill NMs instead.

As Stefano said, the flown the coop quest is actually quite easy. If you do it in a party you can finish it in 3 minutes or less by doing it in shifts. One person stays at the npc while the other runs out to catch the Chocobo. Once it's caught, turn it in, zone out/in, conflux back to Brutus (Conflux 8 is litterally 4 feet from him) and run out (after getting the quest) to the spoor while your partner is zoning. Catch the chocobo once they have the quest and repeat. If the chocobo is caught, as long as you have the quest, you get credit. It took me about 10 stones to get the Kavuk+1. Came out with 8 mavi head, 9 creed head, 16 brd head, and 9 tantra head (seals).

on the choco quest i've gotten 16PLD 6BLU 5MNK 5BRD so far =(

*** this Chocobo quest!!! 13MNK, 9PLD, 7BRD, 3BLU in 2 days of questing. Let's not forget Target too far away. "I'M STANDING ON TOP OF THIS ***"! or my personal favorite the invisible chocobo. :/

Only good thing is that my PLD will have a +1 hat to ding into.

allright...it took me 5 stones...but Flown the Coop has a high drop rate on Mavi hd: seals,8/8...the 5 stones include getting fame from lvl1~2 for the quest also

for legs...dont be an idiot...just kill the flytrap,bat,and Orobon T1 NMs

Feet...atm dont give 2 shits about...its a weak peice but it drops in Gold chests in Inlet...and a quite terrible drop rate...but i dont have the Abyssinite that enchances gold chest loot only red and blue atm

Also...for Head+2 you need to kill Chasm's main boss...the BLM Wamoura

for leg+2 the items for it are from the Orobon main boss in Coast

and thats about all i found out....the quest for Leg seals is HORRIBLE...

Droprate really does suck though.

Feet are only really good for Sanguine Blade from a melee perspective.
edit: Leg items drop off Orobon nms? hawt, those are uber easy

Debuffs? Even if you don't nuke they're a fantastic piece, calling them weak is idiotic.

EDIT: Let's not forget MP Drainkiss either.

It's not a weak piece, but I wouldn't call it a "really wanted" piece. Most would go for the head or the legs.

Kinda related, has anyone tested what the Empyrean head does to Chain Affinity?

completed MNK, BRD and PLD heads with seals left over from each while only being 50% done with BLU head... something is seriously screwed up with the drop rate of these...
