was wondering if anybody got a chance to cast this spell yet was wondering what kind of dmg it is doing, i see it cost 222 mp which is quit a bit, if its not doing around 1600 i say probaly not worth using.

As a taru with topnotch gear and full merits, about 1550 on Xarcabard S tiger's so meh, but it looks cool.

I got it last night and cast it once on a rabbit outside windy past. It did around 1480 but I was wearing accuracy gear only and not potency so it should be around 1600. I do know it was better than Thunder 4 with max potency merits, was worried it wouldn't be.

Haven't done any more testing yet but I'm farming in sky later so I'll have a better idea then.

Erm. Went SCH80/RDM40 and tried it on a pudding last night. Earth weather and Ebullience with a Cream Puff but NOT Earthsday and I hit 2407 so...yeah. I think it's pretty win.

you realize that's a flan and not a lesser colibri right, like polar opposite mobs.

Uh, of course I'm aware of the difference between a colibri and a pudding. I didn't post my number to compare with that, I posted it for the reference of anyone who knows what typical damage on a pudding is, and it certainly isn't 2407 unless you're using AM2. In fact, 2407 is comparable to AM2 on matching day.

Once again I have to call *** Dasva. Screenshots of this without outside help please. My BLM is far from hitting 3k and it's better than yours.

anyways if you want a real comparison between unmerited AM2 and this here it is, both done on a neutral mob without a %dmg modifier like flans (taken while i'm farming for water Teiwaz moments ago >.<)

no magic crit gear used

Picks that your blm gear is better than mine! Especially while using af2 legs. Seriously though did you do it on day and weather with spirit lantern and burn + magic def down on? Not counting the burn the rest of that is a 51% increase in dmg. Which means on you only need to be able to get a little less than 2k without it.

Well if memory serves me we had a discussion once about our BLM gear not too long ago and it was pretty much equal XD but since then I've obtained Morrigan's Cuffs and Morrigan's Robe so I assume I've got a bit of an edge now. Not that I care to argue about it since it's not really the point but I just find it hard to believe that you get 3k solo XD. Might be possible if you're using Burn and a Spirit Lantern though. For the purposes of this thread I'm trying to just make a comparison based on more normal circumstances 'cause most of the time you're not going to be using Burn on puddings except to get an epeen screenshot.

It's worth mentioning that I should have been more clear about the circumstances of my nuke. There was natural Earth weather in Mount Zhayolm and I had given myself Sandstorm and these effects DO stack so I suppose that is equivalent to having Earthsday in some sense. On matching day I can certainly AM2 for more than 2407 but the point still stands that Stone V is pretty close. The gap is very much smaller than it is using Thunder IV in any case.
