yeah i am pissed about bard b/c they mentioned a new JA was in store for us as well. one that let us keep certain songs on us at all times.
we *do* get more march 2 potency w/ skill increase. also we can cast haste as brd/whm.
plus we're already going to be extremely high demand for parties, so i can't complain too much.

i like update. now BRD/whm can double march (20%) and HASTE (15%) and there you go, your perfect support job!
Also for requiem VII. Hidden spell trait: 100% resist on anything worth DoTing.

Actually, not that I'm QQing about it but one thing that I was looking forward to was SE implementing some way for BRDs to prevent having to overwrite their own songs when they're rebuffing the rest of the party (without Pianissimo of course 'cause that just takes forever...), like overwriting their own Ballads when they give DDs March.
Only reason I bring it up at all is because it was actually mentioned by SE on Vanafest website but I don't see anything about it in update info :< just kind of wondering what happened to this idea.

Sorry guys, I only did this to try to cheer you up...so if this turns out to be a corny joke or rubbed the wrong way, I apologize in advance. I tried to cheer my other half with this as well since his main job is BRD but he got cranky ; ;

Requiem was "seen" in a chest in Aybssea but the chest wasn't opened so I didnt get it :(

Also, years ago Ballad III was .dat mined at level 85, so let's hope SE sticks with it. Massacre Elegy would be SICK, and I'd kill some tarutarus for that.
Or an ability reverse of Pianissimo (aka, Fortissimo) that would allow us to AoE Etudes would be absolutely wonderful. Sage Etude in a Manaburn, plus Ballad III... yum~

I believe all the songs can be bought from Bastok music shop(Requiem Paeon) and a shop in Sandy(Minne). At least that's what I heard from local Ghorn friend.
I'm sure we will get higher level songs when we hit 80+ not to worried about the whole BRD getting shafted @ least we get Haste now and can help the RDM or WHM in events :) Whats going to be crazy is a LV96BRD with RDM sub. ThaT is going to nice I hope. Refresh and Haste? That would pwn. Meh i bet they make Refresh a RDM deal onry :(

It doubled the amount of mp gained per tic from ballad 3 from 7 -> 10 for me.
so it only doubles the natural amount of stats you gain from the song itself and not gear.
unlike two hour which is just a straight double.
Guess its good for capping magic haste every now and then or something.

You can have a slightly more potent March 60% of the time with it... But meh.
There are far better abilities that could have been added for BRD. Songs too.
