Yeah, even the Wiki forums have an ignore function.
I'd love to have this feature. I'd like a real reason as to why this hasn't been implemented.

Well, that's pretty immature if thats the case. The forums are already fairly lackluster, and if they want them to be active, maybe a few things that a good portion of active members want should actually be taken seriously.
I don't think it's needed. We don't have a huge amount of drama here compared to some forums, and I've been a member of forums before where they didn't have a blist function and I've ended up becoming good friends with some of the people I got into it with and then couldn't blist.
